This is the lost city of Machu Picchu and its located 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level! Machu Picchu, meaning “Old Mountain”, is a pre-Columbian Inca site on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru. We went there in 2007 and if you get the chance to go then go. Seriously.
