Museum trip

Took my new toy to the British Museum. To see how it would cope with the strange spot lighting they have on the items. Started on auto ISO and aperture priority. Didn’t really like the mood it was creating ( also couldn’t seem to get a shot in focus) so switched to manual ISO and manual settings (still auto focus though). This set up was much better. As long as I keep the ISO up about 640 and the shutter speed at 100 or above the pictures didn’t blur (although I don’t have the steadiest hand in the world). Here is an example:

I have not finished processing them yet (who knew how much extra time RAW takes to process over jpeg 😐 ) but I’ve started a galley of these test shots here:
